Do you enjoy camping, hiking and other fun outdoor recreation activities? Want to learn more on how you can help reduce your impact while enjoying the outdoors? Come join Iowa AmeriCorps 4-H Environmental Educator for a morning of learning about proper ethics for outdoor recreation and camping. Participants will learn the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace set by the Center for Outdoor Ethics and will then take to the trails to practice and observe Leave No Trace ethics here at the Wapsi River Center. Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle and dress for the weather. This program is family friendly. Registration is required.
