There has been a branch library in Blue Grass since 1950, and we moved to our current location in 2016.

Dive into a new fandom every month! We'll launch ourselves into new worlds with books, comics and manga, movies, TV shows, podcasts, musicals, and more. Is there a thing you love? Celebrate and share it with the group via Zoom! This month’s fandom is Harry Potter and the wizarding world. Best for ages 8-13. Grab & Go Kits available while supplies last. Registration required.

Fall programming is virtual at the Scott County Library System this year. Our staff has been brainstorming creative ways to connect - we'd love for you to join us!
We have programs planned for many ages. Some programs require advance registration. Check the calendar on our website for more details.

The Eldridge branch of the Scott County Library System  is an early voting satellite location for the 2020 November election. Early voting begins October 12th, all Scott County Ballots are available. 

Satellite voting days and times for 200 N. 6th Ave. Eldridge, Iowa:

Monday, October 12th through Saturday, October 31st
Monday through Thursday, 10:00am to 7:00pm
Friday and Saturday, 10:00am to 4:00pm

For Absentee ballots, request your ballot as soon as possible and no later than October 24.

The Scott County Library System has reopened with limited grab and go services.

Scott County Library cardholders are encouraged to place items on reserve for pickup or browse quickly, check items out and go. If you need assistance placing a hold or want help finding materials, please call us at 285-4794 ext. 0 or contact us by email at [email protected].

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

All programs will continue to be virtual.

Limited computers are available for one hour sessions.
