Join fellow bibliophiles of all ages for the Walk and Talk Book Club, where we take a short walk through the community before stopping for snacks and discussion as a group. Check out a Playaway or download an audiobook, and meet in the Reading Garden at the Eldridge branch library. This event will be cancelled in the case of rain.

Wednesday, July 28, 2021 - 2:00pm to 3:00pm

It's a weekly party where everyone is an artist. Stop in to create individual masterpieces and group projects using different mediums and techniques. Meet in the Reading Garden at the Eldridge branch library and dress for mess. All ages welcome. In the case of rain, this event will be cancelled.

Put on your jammies and head to the Eldridge branch for an outdoors, in-person storytime! This event will be held in the Reading Garden; please bring a blanket or towel to sit on. The whole family can join in to wind down for the night. Plus, Elise the therapy dog will also join us.

Celebrate your summer of reading and learning at this fun & free glow-in-the-dark movie night. Stop by the Reading Garden of the Eldridge branch library starting at 7:00pm for crafts and snacks. Bring a blanket to sit on. The movie will start shortly after 8pm (rated PG, runtime 113 minutes, The Mitchells Vs. the Machines).

Let reading Color Your World this summer during the 2021 Summer Reading Program! All ages are encouraged to sign up for this challenge. Be creative, try new things, explore art, and find beauty in your world through virtual (both live and pre-recorded) and outdoor events, guided reading lists, and monthly challenges.
