Usher in Autumn with this all ages, family-friendly Harvest Festival!
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a free, live concert!
Free activities include pumpkin painting, harvest games, face painting, petting zoo, and more!
Snap a photo with the Fall photo backdrop, wander through the StoryWalk, enter to win guessing contests, and play lawn games!
Hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, beverages, and desserts will be available for purchase--you can even order to-go.
All proceeds support the Summer Reading Program.
Don't forget to visit the Friends of the Eldridge Library Book Sale held inside the library for great bargains.

Apply to be a “Kid Librarian” and create a display of your favorite books. The display will be up for 2-3 weeks.
Kids that are 8-12 years old may apply.
Fill out the application, return it to the Eldridge Branch, and we will contact you when you are chosen as the next “Kid Librarian”!

Factors such as increased screen time, shortened attention spans, poverty, and the COVID-19 lockdowns play a role; however many of these factors can be mediated by systematic phonics instruction.
