Usher in autumn with an all-ages, family-friendly festival and tailgate before the North Scott varsity football game!​

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy live music on the lawn, plus pumpkin painting, harvest games, face painting, petting zoo, and more. 

Wear your favorite jersey or flannel and snap some pics in front of the fall photo backdrop, wander through the StoryWalk, enter guessing contests, and sit back and relax!

Chili, hot dogs, beverages, and dessert will be available for purchase. All proceeds will support the library's Summer Reading Program.

A print disability is a learning, physical, or visual disability that prevents a person from reading conventional print. As many as fourteen percent of students in local schools have some kind of documented print disability. The Scott County Library System wishes to expand access to all learners and is working to increase the collection of audio, large print, and graphic novels available. Thanks to a 2023 American Library Association Libraries Transforming Communities Grant, we are able to provide more materials for and about learners with print disabilities.

Do you love reading and recommending books to friends?

This opportunity is for you!

Apply to be a “Kid Librarian” and create a display of your favorite books. The display will be up for 2-3 weeks.

Kids that are 8-12 years old may apply.

Fill out the application, return it to the Eldridge Branch, and we will contact you when you are chosen as the next “Kid Librarian”!
