Submit your story to [email protected] and Sarah & Emily will bring your words and illustrations to life! Stories are due by 8pm on June 18th. Include your name & age and no more than 3 pages. Animated stories will be published by July 3rd. This program is for kids and teens; please keep submissions library appropriate.

Spread joy, optimism, and inspiration through the magical power of sidewalk chalk! Decorate the Eldridge branch’s sidewalk with positive messages and pictures--use the summer reading theme “Imagine Your Story” for inspiration. All ages welcome. Chalk provided or bring your own. Groups will be assigned sidewalk squares to maintain social distance.

If you can imagine it, you can build it! Spark your creativity and satisfy your curiosity with a weekly LEGO challenge! Post a photo of your creation in the challenge comments on the library's Facebook page or email a picture to [email protected]. To be entered into weekly drawings for LEGO swag--submit your photo by Saturday at 5pm for a chance to win.
