Emergency Management Agency (EMA)

Emergency management is a coordinated effort, involving local, state, and federal government agencies as well as volunteer organizations and businesses.

Within an integrated emergency management framework, these entities assist citizens and their communities to prepare for, respond to, recover from, and eliminate or reduce the effects of natural, man-made, civil, and technological emergencies or disasters.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds signed two disaster proclamations for Scott County as one of several Iowa counties impacted by flooding and the Monday, July 15 storm. These proclamations open grant assistance and case management services to affected residents for needs, including temporary housing, food assistance, personal property, and home repairs.

Potable Water Distribution - River Flooding
