Scott County Early Childhood Iowa Community Plans
The Community Plan is a tool used by the SCKECI Board to identify the issues facing our community. It is also used to highlight strategies for making an impact towards the mission of coordinating and expanding the community’s services to enable young children to be physically healthy, intellectually curious, emotionally sound, and socially competent.
This plan was developed in cooperation with public and private input from board members, community leaders in social service, agencies and partners involved in providing care, and parents and families. Bi-State Regional Commission, a regional planning agency, was contracted to facilitate public input and revisit the narrative and data in the current plan.
