Landowner and Partner Informational Workshop

The Scott County Conservation Board, in cooperation with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, will be hosting an informational workshop covering the Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake (Sistrurus catenatus catenatus).  The snake was listed as threatened in September of 2016 and efforts are underway to engage local landowners, as well as conservation organizations and agencies in the Lower Wapsipinicon River area.  Please join us to learn about Eastern Massasauga ecology and life history, sites in Iowa that are being managed for the snake, and what you can do to help Eastern Massasauga and other wildlife in your area.  Refreshments and lunch provided!
