SECRETS TO STRESS-FREE TRAVEL

CHOOSE THE RIGHT AIRCRAFT, larger planes are pressurized differently, that benefits with a reduction of fatigue and increased comfort.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT SEAT, sitting by galleys or bathrooms may be subject to more noise, light and commotion.

CONSIDER AN AIRLINE-BRANDED CREDIT CARD, if you frequently fly the same carrier, you may get check in additional baggage without charges or other perks.

CARRY A PILLOWCASE AND CUSHION, airline may provide a pillow but carry your own pillowcase, to assure it is a clean cover.

BRING NOISE-CANCELING HEADPHONES, reduce noise, engine drone, crying babies or chatty/loud passengers.

CREATE A COMFORT KIT, travelsize toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, hand sanitizer, wipes, earplugs, comb, no-show socks (if you want to take your shoes off)

KNOW WHAT YOU’RE BUYING, lowest priced tickets usually don’t include a seat assignment.

                                                   CONCERNS FOR  FAMILIES

BOOK EVERYONE ON THE SAME RESERVATION, if you book family members on more than one reservation, airlines might not know you are traveling together.

ALERT THE AIRLINE, if you don’t want to pay to get seat assignments, try calling a reservations agent at the same time you are booking your flight on-line,

especially if you are traveling with children. The airline isn’t required to seat you together, but the agent may be able to accommodate your request or make a note in the reservation.

ARRIVE EARLY, You’ll have time to try to work out a solution if you need to.

APPEAL TO AN AGENT, If you don’t realize until you arrive at airport that you and your children are separated, talk with a gate agent.

FILE A COMPLAINT, If you do have a problem, that was not resolved, file a complaint as soon as possible.
