On Monday, June 15, 2026, the Scott Emergency Communications Center (SECC) experienced an intermittent disruption affecting some incoming 911 calls. The issue began at approximately 4:40 p.m. and lasted for about 30 minutes. During that time, some 911 calls were received successfully, while others appeared as abandoned and/or dropped calls.

Emergencies and disasters can happen with little warning. Whether it is severe weather, a power outage, a fire, or another unexpected event, having a plan in place can make a difference. For families with young children in school or child care, planning ahead can help reduce confusion and stress, while ensuring children are safely reunited with parents or caregivers during an emergency.

Absentee voting is available from Wednesday, May 13 until Monday, June 1 at the Auditor’s Office, Scott County Administrative Center, 600 West 4th Street, 5th Floor, Davenport. Voting at the Administrative Center is Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Voting will also be available on Saturday, May 30 from 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. There were no valid petitioned satellite locations.
