We hope to see you at the 2016 Quad Cities Pollinator Conference June 23-24. Over the two days, topics will cover native insects, honey bees and creating pollinator friendly habitat. The first day will be held at the River Center located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, and will consist of nearly 20 experts speaking on current pollinator issues, challenges, and opportunities.
The event will feature an opening keynote by Dr. Karen Oberhauser, Monarch Joint Venture, and a luncheon keynote by Dr. Orley R. Chip Taylor, Founder and Director of Monarch Watch.
The second day will consist of a morning of scheduled tours around the Quad City area, visiting successful pollinator habitat projects. I have attached descriptions for the two tours being offered. These tours are optional, and included in the $75 registration fee for the conference. Student registration is half price: $32.75. Please forward this information along to any colleagues or students that might be interested in attending.
Registration can be done online at: http://nahantmarsh.org/event/qc-pollinator/, or you may contact me with any questions. If you would like to pay your registration fee by check instead of credit card, please make it out to: Nahant Marsh Education Center and mail to:
