Human Trafficking: Recognition and Intervention

Description and purpose

Human trafficking exists in small cities, and it exists in Iowa. Children, women and men are enslaved for sex, forced labor and other illegal activities. Health care professionals are in a position to help. This course will teach attendees how to recognize the signs and symptoms of trafficking victims and identify the interventions needed to care for them.
