Swearing-In Ceremony for Deputy Siitari

On Wednesday, December 20th, at 0900, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Swearing- In Ceremony in the Sheriff’s Office Conference Room on the second floor of the Scott County Courthouse. Andrew Siitari has been hired as the newest deputy sheriff for Scott County.

Andrew Siitari was born in Des Moines, Iowa and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated from Edgewood High School in 2010 and went on to earn his B.A. from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. He majored in Politics and minored in Criminal Justice, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He completed his EMT-Basic course at EICC in December of 2017, and has worked with the City of Davenport Public Library since moving to the Quad Cities last year with his fiancée, Lauren. Andrew’s interests include weightlifting as well as playing and coaching basketball.
