Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced voters can submit requests for absentee ballots by mail for the Davenport City Primary Election on October 7 and the City School Election on November 4. “It is a unique time as both forms can be requested and turned in together,” said Tompkins. You must submit a request for an absentee ballot to receive a ballot via mail for each separate election. Ballots will begin to be mailed on September 17 for the Primary Election and October 15 for the City School Election.

Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced the period to submit requests for absentee ballots by mail for the October 7 City of Davenport Primary Election, if applicable, begins Tuesday, July 29. Iowa law allows county auditors to accept absentee ballot requests no more than 70 days before an election. “Please plan ahead if you know you will not be able to vote in-person on October 7,” said Tompkins.
