Some people negotiate effortlessly – at home, at work, and as a consumer while others mistakenly view negotiation as a source of conflict to be avoided at all costs. Skillful negotiation is a valuable tool, and in this session Terry Whitson will be covering multiple aspects of it including:

  • The characteristics of an effective negotiator

  • The principles of persuasive negotiation

  • The six basic steps of negotiation

  • How to plan and prepare for negotiation
