Did you spend all of your Medical Care FSA funds from 2016? If not, your unused balance of up to $500 dollars rolled over and is available for use in 2017. The claim run-out period has ended as of May 1st which means claims from 2016 are no longer accepted for reimbursement. As of May 11th your rollover balance has been combined with your 2017 funds and is now available to swipe and spend via your flex spending debit card.

The results from last fall’s Healthy Lifestyle testing are in…. There were 185 participants who screened. Forty (40) were found to have 3 or more risk factors, i.e. Metabolic Syndrome. Of those 40 individuals, two (2) left employment prior to the spring retesting. Six (6) people chose to participated in Weight Watchers. In the WW group 3 maintained the same number of risk factors, 1 reduced a risk factor and 2 are no longer considered to have Metabolic Syndrome! Thirty-two (32) participated in the Naturally Slim program. Forty-two percent (42%) in the Naturally Slim classes no longer are considered to have Metabolic Syndrome! That means 15 people no longer have Metabolic Syndrome, others reduced a risk factor and many made improvements in a risk factor. Here is a testimonial from a participant: “This is not 10 weeks of a diet, this the beginning of the rest of my healthy life.”

Virtual Visits--Access to care online at any time! When you don't feel well, or your child is sick, the last thing you want to do is leave the confort of your home to sit in a waiting room. Now, you don't have to. A Virtual Visit lets you see and talk to a doctor from your mobile device or computer without an appointment. Most visits take about 10-15 minutes and doctors can write a prescription, if needed, that you can pick up at your local pharmacy.
