Scott County is excited to announce the return of the Healthy Lifestyles program through WellSteps! 

WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE?

Employees who are enrolled in a Scott County medical plan who complete the biometric screening in the fall and earn 100 points in the Wellsteps portal by September 30, 2022 will receive a $25 monthly insurance premium reduction.

If the spouse on the family plan participates and completes the program requirements you’ll receive a $25 monthly insurance premium reduction for them as well.  If both employee and spouse both earn 100 points you would receive a total of $50 dollars in monthly insurance premium reductions!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

• Sign up and complete a biometric screening in the fall of 2021. If your spouse is covered on your family medical plan and wants to participate too they’ll also need to sign up and complete a biometric screening. 
• When prompted, activate your personalized Wellsteps account to track your progress and participate in various activities. If your spouse is participating, they’ll be prompted to activate their own Wellsteps account. 
• Take a moment to plan how you’ll earn the required 100 points needed to qualify for a premium reduction—some activities are only available at specific times so know ahead of time how you’ll earn your points and what activities you plan to participate in to get you there.
• Earn a total of 100 points by September 30, 2022
• Your work is done! You’ll automatically receive your insurance premium reduction beginning with your first insurance premium deduction in January 2023!

Sign up for a biometric screening and get this program started!

• Sreenings are available on multiples dates, in multiple locations for your convenience! Last screening is November 5, 2021.
• Navigate over to the SignUpGenius link below and select a date/time/location that works for you. Scott County Employees: Healthy Lifestyles Biometric Screenings (signupgenius.com)
• (Secondary Roads: Testing is Tuesday, October 26th please reach out to Tara to get your biometric screening scheduled.)

If you cannot make any of these dates please call Jo or Whitney at Genesis at Work (563-421-0667) to schedule an appointment at a Genesis facility before December 10, 2021.
