For those that may not be aware, Conservation is losing a valued member of our ranger staff and management team to retirement.

ROGER LARSON will be retiring on Friday, August 21st after spending 24 years as a Ranger and the West Lake Park/Buffalo Shores Park Manager.

In addition to the joy of retirement, Roger and his wife Julie are immediately moving to the Seattle area to be near their grandchildren. (A well-deserved respite after all those years of working for me, and dedicating himself as an exceptional law-enforcement officer and public servant. He will be missed.)

Due to COVID concerns, we will be doing a small Department Only socially-distanced farewell, but for safety reasons Roger has asked that we not hold the usual county-wide open house. Instead, please send your retirement wishes to Roger's work email before he leaves.
