The Scott County United Way Committee wants to let you know that the Day of Caring is back!

Here are the guidelines for employees wanting to sign up:

• Participate, so long as no overtime is required to cover you while absent, and it works with departmental staffing needs.
• You will need permission from your supervisor to be absent from work.
• Employees are allowed to volunteer for up to 4 hours without having to use vacation accruals.
• If choosing a “day long” activity the additional 4 hours needs to be approved vacation or comp time.
