Bald Eagle Viewing

Bald eagles will start arriving in November along with migrant waterfowl. The stretch of the Wapsi River below the Center supports dozens of eagles in the night roost. The best viewing will be at the Center from December through early March, one to two hours before dusk.  During Center hours scopes are available to view the birds along with other wintering songbirds. Don’t forget to visit the other program raptors housed in the Eagle ViewEco Center!  Call 563-328-3286 for additional information.
