Emergency management is a coordinated effort, involving local, state, and federal government agencies as well as volunteer organizations and businesses.

Within an integrated emergency management framework, these entities assist citizens and their communities to prepare for, respond to, recover from, and eliminate or reduce the effects of natural, man-made, civil, and technological emergencies or disasters.

For immediate release

The American Red Cross and Salvation Army continue to support residents affected by flooding with potable water. Starting July 22, 2024, they will also distribute flood cleanup kits.  Distribution will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3 PM – 5 PM through July 26, 2024.  Residents can pick up these items from the following distribution points:
