Bettendorf, IA - The Quad Cities’ third annual community emergency resource fair will take place on Sunday, August 17, from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at the Quad Cities Waterfront Convention Center, 2021 State Street in Bettendorf, Iowa. The Be Ready QC Emergency Resource Fair is a family-friendly event focused on educating the public on emergency and disaster preparedness. Scott County, Iowa – At approximately 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the Scott Emergency Communications Center (SECC) received credible reports from Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies and personnel with a rural fire department of two rotating funnel clouds observed in the area of U.S. Highway 61, near Park View, Eldridge, and Long Grove.
