Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced the period to submit requests for absentee ballots by mail for the October 7 City of Davenport Primary Election, if applicable, begins Tuesday, July 29. Iowa law allows county auditors to accept absentee ballot requests no more than 70 days before an election. “Please plan ahead if you know you will not be able to vote in-person on October 7,” said Tompkins.

DAVENPORT – Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced today the Candidate Guide is available via the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office for the City-School Election this fall and can be found at their website. “I encourage candidates to turn in their packets early in the filing period to allow time for any concerns.
