Highest Awards in Financial Reporting and Budgeting 2026
Scott County is being recognized once again for its strong commitment to responsible budgeting, transparency, and clear financial reporting.
The County earned national recognition for its Fiscal Year 2025 financial reports and achieved “Triple Crown” status for the 10th year. Scott County also received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its FY 2027 budget for the 37th consecutive year, while its annual financial report earned the GFOA’s highest financial reporting honor for the 39th year in a row.
Scott County also received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting for the 10th consecutive year. These honors place the County among a small number of Iowa governments recognized for meeting high standards in financial reporting and budgeting.
County leaders credited employees across multiple departments, along with professional partners, for the teamwork that continues to make these achievements possible.
