Scott County invites you to add your business organization to Public Purchase, our e-procurement system.

Since county policy and Iowa code section 8A.311 (21) encourage the use of local vendors, companies whose business operates outside the immediate area or is international will be considered only in the event that a local satisfactory vendor cannot be obtained or that additional competitive bids are required.

If interested, vendors can be notified by email when Scott County goes out to bid on an item matching your business’s products or services. To receive notifications, vendors must be registered on Public Purchase.

Please place the Scott County Purchasing Division on your distribution list for product catalogs. Scott County seeks competitive bid prices upon receipt of departmental requests and uses an authorized purchase order for county purchases.
