Emergency Management Agency of Scott County has received the following information regarding seeds (seeds that you plant in the ground) that are being mailed to residents within the State of Iowa. These seeds are not labeled and could contain an “ invasive plant, seed-borne diseases, or other unknown seed treatments already applied.” Iowa Department of Agriculture & Land Stewardship has been able to confirm that majority appear to be from China, and at least one Uzbekistan.

The Clinton & Scott County Emergency Management Agencies will be working in conjunction with local law enforcement to coordinate search volunteers to assist in the search for Breasia Terrell for Saturday, 07/18/2020. Registration will start at 09:00 AM at the Low Moor Community Center, 211 3rd Ave Low Moor, IA. County Offices and Departments Closed to the Public. Effective 4:00pm March 18, 2020, county departments and offices are closing to the public. This includes the Administration Center and offices in the courthouse, along with other administrative offices throughout the county. Court activities may remain open for essential proceedings, additional guidance will be offered by the courts.
