Wapsipinicon River Flood Debris Removal Guidelines

Scott County Emergency Management Agency in conjunction with the Scott County Board of Supervisors, Scott County Secondary Roads, Scott County Waste Commission, Scott County Conservation Board & Scott County Facility Support Services have tentatively scheduled debris management to begin on May 1st, 2019 along the Wapsipinicon River.   This date is contingent upon road conditions and weather.  Please see the below flyer on how to identify what debris are being collected, and how it will need to be sorted for us to collect.  Please direct questions to the most appropriate agency that is listed on the flyer.

Based on feedback from impacted property owners, we have identified the following areas where we will be conducting the Debris Management Cleanup:

  • Buena Vista Road Dixon, IA
  • River Camp Road Donahue, IA
  • 297th Street Donahue, IA
  • 298th Street Donahue, IA

This project is for the pick-up of flood debris and flood damaged home contents and building materials only. If you have those items from flooding along the Wapsipinicon River this spring and your area is not listed, please contact Scott County Emergency Management by phone (563-484-3050), or follow the link below.
