Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m

On Election Day itself, you may only vote at your assigned polling place – you can no longer vote at the Auditor’s Office or the early voting.

Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins reminds voters that several changes have been made to Iowa election laws which affect voter registration and absentee balloting. These changes are in effect for the Davenport Seventh Ward Primary Election, to be held on October 5th, 2021 and all subsequent elections.

Voting by mail.

Early voting, sometimes called absentee voting or satellite voting, is available to every registered voter in Scott County. When casting your ballot early, you do not need to attend your polling place on Election Day.


New electronic voter registration process for those with valid Iowa driver’s license or DOT-issued ID.
