Treasurer Services During COVID-19

The Treasurers Office drop box in the parking lot of the Administrative Center.

The public health of our community is of the utmost importance. That is why the Treasurer’s Office/County General Store is currently closed to the public. However, it is important that we maintain a high level of service while keeping staff and customers safe. As always, you may contact our office at 563-326-8664 or 563-386-2886 Monday – Friday. Phones will be answered from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. during the building closure. We ask for your patience as we anticipate a high volume of calls during this time.

You may renew your registration online, mail or use our drop box. If your vehicle registration expired Jan. 31, 2020 or later, you do not need to renew your registration at this time. Read more from the IDOT about registration renewals .

On March 19 the Scott County Board of Supervisors temporarily suspended the interest for delayed property tax payments until April 30, 2020. Late interest on property tax payments will apply beginning May 1.

Property taxes may be paid online at iowatreasurers.org. We also have a drop box in the west side of the parking lot of the Administrative Center and another attached to the building at the County General Store where payments can be deposited. Be sure to include your contact information with the business you are dropping off so we may contact you with questions and please do not leave cash.

We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time and we thank all of Scott County for your continued support.
