Lake Restoration Notice:

The Beach and Boathouse at West Lake Park are closed for the season. We look forward to re-opening these activities in 2021 after completing the lake restoration project.

All other activities will remain open, including the campgrounds, shelters, cabins, disc golf course and trails.

West Lake Park

West Lake Park.

West Lake Park is a 620 acre facility offering four lakes for fishing and/or swimming. A boat dock, parking lot, handicap fishing dock, beach area, and paddle boat rentals are available for the water enthusiast. For the landlubbers - the park offers picnic facilities, playground areas, modern restrooms and two campground areas with electrical, water, and/or sewer hook-ups. Both camping areas have handicap accessible comfort stations.

Learn about the cause and effect of the decline in honey bee and native bee populations through the Great Sunflower project .  You will get to participate in a pollinator count and then make an insect hotel that you can take home and install in your own garden using recyclable items.  Please bring empty  soup or pasta cans for the insect hotels. Registration is LIMITIED and  REQUIRED.

The Scott County Park Pool is scheduled to be open for Memorial Day weekend, May 29th - 31st.

The Pool will not be open June 1st through the 4th.

The Pool will open daily for the season beginning June 5th.

Season passes are available for purchase. We hope to be included in your summer plans and we're so glad to be welcoming you back!

Scott County Park Pool is proud to be an American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Provider. The Learn-to-Swim program is unique compared to other learn to swim programs. Classes are offered for children ages 3 years old and up. Students progress through the levels at their own pace, mastering the skills in the one level before then advancing to the next.

Sessions are offered from June-July for Group Lessons, Private Lessons, Lifeguarding Certification and a WSI Instructor Class. Register online beginning April 1st or in person starting April 12th at the Scott County Park Entry Station.
