Payments:

All papers that need service will require payment up front.

Payments are accepted for:

  • General Execution / Wage Garnishment – $71.50
  • General Execution / Bank Levy – $111.50
  • Forcible – 
    • 1 Defendant $75
    • 2 Defendants $100
    • 3 Defendants $130
  • Forcible/Money Judgement –
    • 1 Defendant $125
    • 2 Defendants $200
  • Notices –
    • 1 Defendant $50
    • 2 Defendants $75
  • Orders/Original Orders –
    • 1 Defendant $50
    • 2 Defendants $100
  • Petition – $75
  • Subpoena’s – $50 each
  • Summons – $75
  • Writ of Possession – $100
  • Writ of Replevin – $75

A log or case number associated with the Civil Service will be required to make payment. We only accept State of Iowa Deferrals. 

Law firms with an established billing account do not require advanced deposit.

How to pay:

    • Scott County Courthouse - 400 W. 4th St., Davenport, Iowa
    • Cash or check (no service fee is charged)
    • Credit or debit cards are accepted. (fees apply)*
  • By phone:
    • Credit or Debit Cards are accepted over the phone by calling the Sheriff’s Civil Division at 563-326-8627. (fees apply)*
    • Operator-Assisted Transactions: Add $3.50 per transaction (if currently below $3.50)

Printing fees:

This amount is pulled from the Deposit, if the fee exceeds the Deposit our staff will contact you:

  • Pages 1-5 – $.50
  • Pages 6-9 – $3
  • Pages 10-19 – $5
  • Pages 20-39 – $10
  • Pages 40-69 – $20
  • Pages 70-99 – $35
  • Pages 100 and over – $50
