Incident Type: Scott County Sex Offender Registry Sweep

On Saturday, March 6th, 2021 the Scott County Sex Offender Task Force including the following agencies: Scott County Sheriffs Office, Scott County Sheriffs Office Reserve Division and Scott Emergency Communication Center conducted a registered Sex Offender compliance check sweep.

• Current Scott County Registered Sex Offenders (March 6th, 2021): 501
• Sex Offender Compliance Checks conducted on 03/06/2021: 127
• Compliance Percentage: 86%
• Arrest: 1

On-going investigations for any non-compliance will be completed for potential criminal charges.

Iowa State Code 692A.118 does charge Sheriffs Offices with ensuring compliance with the registration and verification required under state law.
