We are excited to announce the release of the 2023 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) for the Scott County and Rock Island County Health Departments! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic interrupting the implementation of the 2019 CHIP, community partners decided to transition several strategies and activities to this CHIP for all priority areas: mental health, nutrition, physical activity, and weight, and access to healthcare. This plan will help guide the collaborative efforts taking place over the next three years to improve the health of our community. Beginning Friday, June 24, 2022, TestIowa kits can no longer be dropped off at Scott County Health Department to be transported to the State Hygienic Lab for analysis. Individuals can still pick up kits from the Health Department, but must return them at a UPS drop-off location.
