It's important for those who are in close contact with pigs, dairy cows, poultry, or other animals to get their flu shot as protection against influenza viruses. This includes farmers, workers, and family members or close contacts of farm workers.

Measles Outbreak in Iowa
The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (Iowa HHS) has confirmed 22 measles cases in Iowa with evidence of person-to-person spread. Around 5,000 exposures may have already occurred. Visit our Measles page for more information, including where exposures may have occurred.
