The Scott County Health Department (SCHD) wants to learn from families of all kinds about hunger and how it affects their family. SCHD is partnering with the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Council 10 and the Friendly House to provide a free event on November 21st where families can talk more about hunger and family health in person. Children are welcome. Gift cards and a free meal will be offered. Event details are listed below:

Scott County, City and State offices will be closed Thursday, November 27, 2025 and Friday, November 28, 2025 in observation of Thanksgiving. Additionally, the General Store is closed Saturday.
