The Scott County Health Department (SCHD) is excited to partner with TMBC Lincoln Center; Community Health Care, Inc.; EveryChild; Iowa Total Care; Molina; Scott County Kids; and Wellpoint to host a community baby shower on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the TMBC Lincoln Center (318 E 7th St, Davenport) from 1 to 3 PM.

The community baby shower is free and open to new and expecting families. Families can connect with local programs and services to learn more about what is available in our community. Additionally, door prizes, games, snacks, and a photo station will be available.

The event is all about supporting the health and well-being of pregnant people and families. Lydia Amissah-Harris, SCHD Family Health Coordinator, shared, “This event is a celebration of new and expectant parents in our community, connecting families to essential resources, education, and encouragement. It’s a beautiful opportunity to uplift and support families during such a critical time in their journey.”
